Well, I've let this site lie fallow for a while now, because I have very little desire to grind through my database and tweak several thousand tables so that they're compliant with the new drupal. That's HOURS of work I have to look forward to.

Currently missing are half of my links and all of my galleries and every forum entry, and probably other stuff I just haven't come across yet.

And yes, I am working on a new theme and some other stuff. Sort of. I don't actually have much time to do anything, and I'm doing some freelance web design that will actually help pay bills, so the non-paying vanity stuff has to wait.

Been a while since I posted, and although it may appear like I've been pretty inactive, I've been doing a lot of shit. So this is what I've learned:

• Sleep is for the weak.
• Trying to live out the first point will make you start to hallucinate.
• Paintball is awesome fun.
• Paintball is not awesome fun if you're not wearing a cup.

Finally got Drupal 6.2 and MySQL 5.whatever installed, so now I can get down to the business of making a new non-retarded theme. VICTORY!!

Here's what you do: reference a client as having "contempt for all common sense" in an internal document after they make an absurdly expensive and rash decision.

Well, ok, that whole upgrade thing didn't work out so hot. I've backed out all of the nonsense I was initially trying because the upgrade wasn't playing well with my database. I'll have to approach this a little less half assed this week, maybe do a whole proper development cycle and stuff.

Well, I'm sort of not looking forward to it, but it's time to upgrade my database to MySQL 5, and my Drupal install to version 6.x. This will almost certainly require building a new theme, so this site will be quiet for a few days while I start setting the new stuff up.

I'm hoping the upgrades will solve some of my inexplicable server errors. If not, it might be time for a new host... :worry:

So I've been getting way into this whole Paizo/Pathfinder D&D 3.75 thing. It's fun, and interesting, because they're asking fans to come up with ideas and do brain storming to help them develop and re-work the 3.x D&D rule set.

So a company I've not known a lot about till recently named Paizo has decided to put out a new version of D&D. They're doing it under the OGL from Wizards of the Coast. Why would they do this you ask?
