Ok, it works. Mostly. And I suck at backgrounds.

Well, the database seems mostly stable and sorted now. I'm still in the slow, mind numbing process of rebuilding my galleries. And then I need to go and rebuild all the categorization for my several hundred blog entries. Oh yeah, and smilies. Those still aren't done. Huzzah.

Well, ok, enough whining. Now I'll whine about something else.
That Elf sorceress girl up there has no background. This is because I am terrible at coming up with backgrounds. I'm not sure why...as a kid I used to draw all of these complex battle scenes with all sorts of background stuff. I mean, I can make them, but I really need to be deliberate about it ahead of time to make everything integrate. Unfortunately, almost all of my sketches and doodles are free-floating character studies...like this one.

It's something I really need to work on.

This character is sort of a study for a game thing I've been working on. Sort of a high-fantasy meets arcane/steam punk thing. Sort of cliche, but I'm trying to inject some unique elements and style to it. Keep things unified and all.
