Insightful Pharyngula Post

PZ Meyers had a damn good post at his Blog Pharyngula. This is the one line that seems to have hit other people, and myself: We need to translate. That's also our role.

This is something that's been eating at the back of my mind for a while now, and is the reason why I started my little evolution pages. I know they aren't particularly good, but they're something.

I suppose on some weird level I wanted to feel like I was contributing something useful to a cause that's so important to me (science, education, and combating irrational nonsense). My day job certainly gives me no opportunity for anything that fulfilling.
